What is a ‘Giclee’ Print?
Nowadays, the term Giclee print means a digital fine art print. Giclee is French for “squirt” and the term describes the printing process of a drop of ink being vaporised by an electrical charge and squirted on to the paper or other print medium.
What personalisation information do you need for the coordinate prints?
If you know the coordinates already, please supply them. If not, we’ll happily find them for you. Please supply as many details as you can eg. house number, building name, street, post code, country.
Please also supply the text you would like on the print, underneath the coordinates. This varies for the different coordinate print styles. If you are ordering the ‘Wedding Style’ print, please also supply the initials of the couple (e.g. D&T).
The coordinates used on the prints are in the degrees, minutes and seconds format, and we don’t generally include the numbers after the decimal point.

How are your frames made?
We’re very proud to be able to offer professional, custom made frames for some of our prints. We use a local framing company who are members of the Guild of Master Craftsmen with over 20 years in the business. Our frames are not standard ‘off the shelf’ frames. Each frame is handmade to order, to an extremely high standard – due to this, please allow up to 21 days delivery time for framed prints, although we usually dispatch a lot sooner.
How long will my print last?
Ages! The inks and papers used are made by the top manufacturers. The inks are pigment, not dye based, the papers are of the required archival standard as tested by an independent UKAS laboratory. Accelerated UV testing, by the ink manufacturers, indicates that our pigmented inks should have a life span of up to 200 years if displayed under normal lighting conditions.
When will my print be delivered?
We aim to dispatch unframed print orders within 7 working days of payment. Unframed prints are sent by Royal Mail 2nd Class post. Please allow up to 21 days delivery time for framed prints, although we usually dispatch a lot sooner than this. Framed prints are dispatched by the framing company themselves, and sent by overnight next day courier service.
Do you deliver around the world?
We are happy to send our unframed prints around the world. These charges are per order; we charge the same for 1 print or 15 prints. For most international orders we use Royal Mail ‘Airsure’, so your item can be tracked, and signed for upon delivery.
Unfortunately, we can only deliver our framed prints to UK addresses at the moment.
How are your prints packaged?
Each print is rolled by hand and lovingly wrapped in acid-free, colour fast tissue paper, and packaged in a sturdy cardboard tube. We’re happy to add gift notes if your print is being sent as a gift, just let us know when you order. Framed prints are securely packaged with plenty of padding to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
What is your refund policy?
We don’t want to get bogged down in small print, but if you ever have a problem with any of our products please let us know and we’ll do whatever we can to make it right. Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds on personalised items unless there is a fault.
